Stained Teeth

Do you have stained teeth that you are embarrassed to even smile, speak or socialize? Well, you don’t have to put up with that anymore. There are so many ways we can help you get rid of those staining. A smile speaks a thousand words and if you cover your mouth every time you smile, you need to do something about it. It could be something very embarrassing and devastating and can be easily fixed.

There are many different kinds of stain:

White spots that are present ever since you had your new adult teeth, these are either due to trauma associated with your baby teeth or due to what we called fluorosis or as a result of having braces. These can be easily lightened or removed with a simple procedure. The result will depend on how bad the stain is.

• Yellow, grey or even brown stain as a result of your mother taking Tetracycline(antibiotics) when she was pregnant. These stains are the worst. It ranges from slightly yellow to dark brown and very devastating to have. To get rid of these stain, you can either have bleaching such as ZOOM or “take home bleaching”. The result is again depends on how badly damage the stain has caused. If the damage is so severe, you can have veneers (PORCELAIN or COMPOSITE FILLINGS).
